Landon learning to crawl- Video

Here's the video I just recently made of Landon. 23 weeks old when I made this, almost 6 months old! Tuesday is his Bday =)

He's growing up soooo fast! The boy was 17 lbs at his last Dr. appt, and only 2 weeks before that he was 15 lbs! He's gettin hard to hold for a long time. My arms start to get tired, FAST. I need to start working out more....sigh. If only I had the time I use to have =(

My little boy...before I know it, he will be running and I will be chasing him complaining how tired I am of running! haha...

Well, here it is, hope you like!

Landons locks

If there's one thing that gives my nephew his character it's gotta be his hair! It makes him too cute to handle but is also amazingly gravity defying--even soaking wet!! Here he is after his bath tonight. We love it, Landon!!

Well, here I am on May 29th and no baby yet. I think instead of telling you your due date on one specific day- they should treat it like....hmmm...my furniture delivery! They should give you a range of weeks it could arrive. Of course, you all have heard the horror story behind my most recent update on my furniture delivery- but just as they need to reevaluate their delivery system, maybe doctor's should reevaluate their little system too.

I mean, the count down, the build up, all the check ups, the emphasis! I was actually a bit nervous my furniture delivery was scheduled to arrive the same date as the baby! What was I going to do? I was worried and thinking I didn't know how I was going to arrange someone to be there while everyone would be at the hospital! Well...since both the deliveries are past due, I am realizing just how wrong it is that so much significance is built up on this one day and alas! Nothing. Not even a couch. sigh....

So of course, the couches are now rescheduled to be delivered saturday, and I am predicting baby will come the same time. If only from the very beginning they would have said to me...."your due date is scheduled sometime between May 28th and June 11th...", we could have avoided all the BS leading up to this one very disappointing day.

Phone tree

So heres the question we all want answered...whats the notification plan for when this baby finally comes? Are you going to draft a text now so its ready for sending when the time comes? Are you going to have Steve call everyone personally? Whats the deal lil sista?

The time is growing nearer as I am getting bigger and bigger...or at least baby is. No, I definately am too. haha. Baby is almost ready to make his voyage into this world and into our hearts =) No, we have not picked out a name yet.

I am sooo excited, anxious, worried and even a little scared. I'm ready though. I've heard word on the street that everyone else is ready bc of my "raging hormones". Hey, imagine how I feel?!! I'm the one that has to deal with myself! Yes, it sux.

Ok, I need to complain now. My back feels like it's going to break in half it hurts so bad. I can't sleep for more than hour straight without waking up to move or pee. When I finally cave in to get up and pee for the 100th time, my bones moved out of place so I can't walk, I have to hobble like a cripple...which usually means I can't stand up or use my one leg very well. When I go without food or a drink I get dizzy and feel like throwing up, so I sit down and eat, then I get bloated and sick. My brain is complete mush and worthless. I can't remember ANYTHING, or even complete sentences really (it's true, ask Steve).

That's not even the half of it people....I just want you to know it's hard to be all happy-go-lucky when you feel like POOP 24/7. Bare with me...even tho I know you have been.

I have a dr's appt tomorrow, Tuesday, so I'll be sure to post something a little less cranky and more exciting. I'm hoping I've dialated bc I have been feeling some contractions and want to get thsi show on the road! We'll see after tom.

PS: Remind me that moving when you are 8 mo preggo is a bad idea. Talk about added stress. Don't get me wrong, I love our new home, but it has been a lot of extra work.

Can't wait to see everyone at my baby shower on Saturday!!!

New April Picture!

Here she is, checking out her new house.

33 weeks

I am now 33 weeks and 3 days...about 6 weeks to go! Believe me, I am feeling it now if I haven't said it before. In more ways than I can explain. I can't think straight, my brain is complete MUSH, I can't remember ANYTHING, I'm uncomfortable at night & during the day (all day), nothing fits right, I'm hot and out of breath no matter if I'm sitting still.....the list can go on. Last week at my Dr. appt, the doc said the baby was appx 4 lbs and he projected the baby would gain about 3 more lbs. He'll be a little guy, but compared to the size of his momma, he's just right! Everything else looks good. His heartrate was 130, he's kicking and flipping and wiggling all the time- he's almost ready to go! I told the doc I had a feeling I wouldn't make it to my due date, May 28th, I feel like I'm going to go earlier. To my surprise, he agreed with me! I couldn't believe he agreed!! But, as we all know, very rarely is your due date your actual due date. I decided today to stop saying that so I won't start getting ideas.

11 weeks to go and I am feelin' it now! I feel like I have a bowling ball in my belly and if I bend over to pick something up, I'll take my back out...or I might not get back up...or my pants will split open! That's fine, I get no sympathy from anyone around here. Not when your mother did it 4x's- funny how she doesn't remember anything either.
So, Steve and I go to the mall on Friday night and I talked him into looking at "just a few baby things". He was a little apprehensive, but of course he did anyway! So my baby shopping experience at this outlet store was ruined when I saw some chick from high school that I never really liked. Almost the entire time we were there, I was ducking her as she followed me from aisle to aisle. Steve would be on look out and yell when she was coming. It sucked. I finally decided I didn't care and just ignored her as she stood right next to me, regardless of how far I wandered. Even laid back Steve said she was annoying him!(...nice to know it's not just me after all).
Whenver I drop anything these days, I ask poor Steve if he'll pick it up. I can't really do the house chores that I used to, so I do what I can and then I have to ask Steve to finish it. I eat all dessert that's up for grabs, I toss and turn all night, I beg Steve to go walk with me when he doesn't want to......man, you wonder who's got it worse? Don't answer that.

Last thing here, baby is kicking really really hard these days. So much for the worrying about that! He's pretty active most the time. We still play our little game where he pushes and I push back. The dr. said everything sounded and looked good at my last appt. Got more blood taken to test for gestational diabetes...negative. I have to go in once every 2 weeks now. I hate going to the dr.'s. I think they blow me off and they never really say much. I pay A LOT of money to go in and they pass me around like a......then they don't even know my name or anything! I mean, fool me! My freggin name is on the paper! PRETEND YOU KNOW ME. oooo mood swing.

Heres some updated pics!!

Wednesday, February 9, 2011

Hi all! I just had my 24th week dr.'s appt yesterday and wanted to update. It looks like everything is "A OK" and baby boy is doing good. He is wiggling and kicking and punching the crap out of me! I love it though...it's a constant reminder that I have a little joey on the way and everything is fine. His heart rate is normal 120-130 bpm and he/me has grown considerably since you all have seen my last picture. I still need to post the pic I said I would 2 weeks ago, but that was 2 weeks ago, so yes, I'm bigger now.

It's practically impossible to get my pants on, especially my work pants! i had to buy a pair of maternity pants for work that are sooooooo ugly- but comfy =) I guess that's how it works though. Ugly= Comfortable. I can just barely button my shirt over my belly these days, I'm thinking the button might pop off if I sit down too fast.

So the other day the baby was kickboxing in my belly, just going crazy! It was almost uncomfortable bc he was catching me off guard on the left, the right, down low, up high...so I got Steve to come feel him and of course as soon as I did- he stopped. I made Steve sit there for about 20 min until he kicked again...and finally he did. Everyone says how weird it feels, if only they could feel how I feel! Sometimes he'll push really hard and just hold it there, so when you look at my belly, you can actually see where he's sticking out!

Well, I best get back to work. Enough break time. Lots of love to everyone...

It's Blue!

With Joey's most current sonogram, they were able to tell the sex of the little joey, and it's a boy! Joey thinks he looks like Steve. They saw him yawning and kicking, but she can't feel him yet. She said she teared up when she saw his little face--I think that made their soon-to-be parenthood much more realistic.
Boy, oh boy, was I betting on a girl. I was certain they were going to have a little princess, but not yet anyway. Prince charming is going to be a heartbreaker with the looks and athleticism of his parents. How exciting!
Joey and Steve- get on here and post your thoughts. Any names stapled down yet? What's next?
