About "Joey's Joey"

As I'm sure everyone was, I was ecstatic to hear Joey and Steve's exciting news! The next chapter in their marriage is underway and this blog is to serve as a news block for the mommy and daddy-to-be, encouragement from others, AND a momento for the family to look back on in years to come.

  4. I have definately gotten bigger. I can barely reach my toes and fit into my clothes. every position is uncomfortable. I recently started feeling strange sensations in my belly...baby kicks?? growing pains??? GAS?!!
yesterday I went home from work and plopped down on the couch for the remainder of the night. I really need to keep working out. I miss running, but it hurts my joints right now. Yeah, I know there are other things I could do, but I have too many excuses right now.
Steve and I just recently bought our first new home together. We are super excited to have a nursery and plenty of room for baby, the cats, guests and of course US. I think we will finally be able to share a closet. Poor Steve.
Oh, and we are thinking we really like the name Landon. Not sure if that one was on the list. If you don't like it, then please don't give me your opinion...it really gets annoying. And as I get further along, I get grumpier- just giving everyone a heads up =)

  5. well, today I am 24 wks and 4 days. I'm sitting here and the baby is kicking me like crazy! I guess it wasn't that long ago I was worried bc the baby wasn't kicking...or at least from what I could tell. Well, he's kickin now!
I don't know if I look like I've gotten bigger, but I can still hide my bump. If I wear a sweatshirt or heavy coat, people just think I'm normal. If I wear a reg shirt, apparently you can see my belly button so you can tell it's a bump- not a pot belly! At least, one lady told me yesterday, she knew it was a bump bc of my belly button. haha...i was happy she could tell.

I have probably gained appx. 20 lbs by now. i haven't weighed myself bc i dont want to know. i think it's funny, but at the same time scary!

I asked Steve yesterday if he was ready to be a dad, he said he was definately ready. So sweet! Since we just bought a new house, I think we are both even more excited to nest and just be a happy little family =)

Then I asked Steve if he wanted to feel the baby kick. He said no! Why I wondered, probably bc it was midnight and I couldn't sleep and he had to get up at 6 am. I guess that's an acceptable reason for now...I'll get him when it's not so late next time.
